Municipality of Amadeo 




    It is an upland town in the southern part of Cavite bounded in the north by the Municipality of Gen. Trias, Silang in the east, Indang in the west, and by the Cities of Tagaytay and Trece Martires in the south and northwest portions, respectively. It is a fourth-class municipality that is divided into 26 barangays.

FUN FACTS:

With a vast 47.90 square kilometers of its land planted with coffee, Amadeo has the largest land area devoted to coffee farming in the entire upland Cavite. 

- It is the biggest coffee producer in the province.

- It has annual festivals that showcase the local culture, traditions, and products.

    Amadeo, recognized as the "Coffee Capital of the Philippines," is also called the "Coffee Festival" in gratitude for the bountiful coffee harvest in the municipality. The three-day Pahimis Festival, kicking off on Friday, showcases Amadeo's best coffee and coffee-based products. Activities such as a trade fair, street dancing, beauty pageant, and a coffee convention are customary during this celebration. Additionally, the event features highlights like the 'Amadeo Latte Art Throw Down' and 'Barista Challenge,' along with street dancing, cultural shows, and a trade fair where the municipality's finest coffee and coffee-related items are exhibited. Free-flowing coffee is generously offered to all attendees.

Pahimis is a coffee festival celebrated in different coffee-producing areas in the Philippines. As a significant coffee producer, Amadeo might participate in or host events during this festival.
